'Pink Sherbert Alfie' Limited Edition Art Print
This bold and bright artwork stars Alfie the pink and grey Galah (Eolophus roseicapilla) or biako in local noongar language, from Caversham Wildlife Park - such a character! He's pictured with some Perth pink-flowering gum (Corymbia ficifolia) or yorgum.
The original artwork was created using acrylic on a huge 1m x 1m canvas. Contact me directly to enquire about the original artwork.
From the artist: "Bold, bright neons and vibrant hues cover the canvas, evoking feelings of joy, optimism and euphoria. Shapes from organic swipes of colour inform the composition of the subject. Inspired by the endemic birdlife of Western Australia, Alfie—the pink and grey galah—takes centre stage in this saturated portrait. The subject is human-scale and positioned to engage directly with the viewer. This artwork merges gestural sweeps of vivid colour, naive illustrative elements and naturalistic realism."
This print is available in two options:
Unframed Giclee Paper Print 600 x 600mm:
Actual artwork size will be 500 x 500mm. The above size includes a 5cm white border to all sides (hand-written with title, print edition number and signature) meaning the paper will be 100mm wider and taller than the artwork size. These prints are printed with archival quality ink on cotton Photo Rag paper.
OR
Large Canvas Print 900 x 900mm:
Canvas prints also use archival quality inks on cotton canvas. At this stage, only local pickup is available for canvas that comes stretched onto frames, coated with protective UV liquid laminate and ready to hang. You may contact me before purchasing if you would like a quote for domestic freight of stretched canvases. (All International and domestic shipping orders will be rolled, not stretched onto frames, unless contacted prior).

Limited Edition art purchases include a Certificate of Authenticity and print edition number (limit of 20 prints per artwork per media/size).
We recommend that you take good care of your new art investment, storing well until it can be handled and framed by a professional. This ensures that the quality can be maintained well into the future.
