About the Artist

I am a West Australian artist and designer based in the Swan River side suburb of Bassendean on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja. I am a mixed media visual artist exploring oils, acrylics, watercolour, pencil, collage, digital and whatever materials and techniques arise in the continuous evolution of my artistic expression.  

I have drawn, doodled, scribbled and sketched for as long as I can remember. Even while studying or working in fields far removed from the art world, such as health and medicine, I was often more interested in sketching the lecturer, fellow students or work colleagues at meetings. Following that creative pull, I then studied and worked in Architecture - the precision and detail from this field can be seen in several of my artworks. My specialisation in sustainability in architecture, also feeds my desire to be environmentally conscious in chosen artistic subject matters and the resources I use in my art practice. 

I now balance my life between family, architectural design and my art - the overlap often presenting the most rewarding results.
