ORIGINAL Acrylic Artwork 'Swannies' by Romona Sandon.
Framed acrylic artwork, 'Swannies' is an energetic, stylised artwork created by a local Perth artist. The scene captures the Heritage-listed Bassendean Oval Gate, built in 1929 at the corner of West Road and Old Perth Road, Bassendean, home of the Swan Districts Football Club since 1934.
From the artist: "My art has a strong sense of the time and place of its creation. My Architectural background is reflected in the lines, shapes and elements that catch my attention - the soaring, fine stadium lighting juxtaposed with the low ground-hugging heritage gate. I play with colour, saturation and contrast to express the early morning light. Impressionism and vintage screen-printing styles inform the artistic language of this piece."

Only local pickup is available for canvas originals that are stretched, framed and ready to hang.
