Unframed mixed media artwork of a Yellow-bellied or Olive-backed Sunbird (Nectarinia jugularis) called 'tirridirri'in Dyirbal/Yidiny indigenous language of northern Queensland. The artwork shows the male mid-hover bringing nectar and insects to a nest of his young. This is part of my wider-reaching Aussie bird series, a series on bird life from throughout Australia.
