'Nollamara Numbat' Limited Edition Art Print
This bold and bright artwork showcases an endangered Numbat (Myrmecobius fasciatus) weeu or walpurti in local noongar language, pictured with the flowers of a 'Celebration Fireworks' Kangaroo Paw (Anigozanthos hybrid) nollamara, developed by Kings Park and Botanic Garden.
The original artwork was created using acrylic on a large 900 x900mm canvas. Contact me directly to enquire about the original artwork.
From the artist: " Set against a tranquil blue, this work pairs the soulful numbat, Western Australia’s emblem of quiet resilience, with a luminous cultivated “Celebration” Kangaroo Paw. The numbat’s finely patterned fur and intent gaze evoke the vulnerability of endangered wildlife, while the engineered bloom rises in vivid colour as a symbol of human intervention and invention. Their juxtaposition intensifies the tension between loss and creation, turning the canvas into a gentle yet insistent call to honour, protect and imaginatively renew the living world."
